Comprehensive Ganga Kalyana Scheme

1) Personal Irrigation Borewell:

  • For the schedule caste and other related caste groups The Ganga Welfare Scheme will be implemented to provide water for agricultural activities by drilling, pipeline installation and electrification for beneficiaries of land and land ownership schemes to make income-generating agricultural activities for land grantors. The beneficiary must have at least 2.00 acres of land.
  • Unit cost: Rs. 3.00 to Rs. 4.00 Lakhs. Water will be provided for agricultural activities by drilling of tubing wells and electrification. Term loan up to Rs. 0.50 Lakhs (Repayment at 16 Half Yearly installments at a simple interest rate of 6%.)

    • 2) Joto irrigation:

  • If the beneficieries of the scheduled caste and other related castes has at least 2.00 acres of land to make income-generating agricultural activities to those who have been granted land by the beneficiaries of land and land belonging to the landowners and landowners, through the irrigation system, Irrigation facility will be provided. Under this scheme the small Farmers will be provided with natural water from rivers, canals and natural ponds for joto irrigation.
  • Cost of unit: Rs. 4.00 to Rs. 6.00 lakhs.

    • Common Eligibility

    • Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Castes and related castes.
    • Must Be A resident of Karnataka State.
    • Applicants must be over 21 years of age.
    • Applicants / dependents of any member of the family shall not be in government / semi-government employers.

    Conditions

    1. Applicants must be selected by the Selection Committee.
    2. The annual income of the applicant's family shall be Rs.1,50,000 / - in the rural area and Rs.20,000 / - in the urban area.
    3. Approval will be canceled at any stage if the approved beneficiary is found to be ineligible.
